Spring Break 2023:
Distribution and Serving!
On Monday, March 13th, 2023, The Giving embarked on its 3rd care package distribution with Founder, Catherine Van and our newest additions to the executive board: Giving Volunteers, Henry Pham and Kalina Phongsa! Around 8-11 PM, the trio distributed 100 care packages to our Prairie Street friends while participating in amazing worship and praise conducted by F.R.E.S.H. Project Houston. This was our first Monday night serving with Keep Moving Ministries and will be one of many!
Henry Pham and Kalina Phongsa have participated in various programs hosted by The Giving and have continuosly expressed initiative to help out on future events. This fervor and proactivity have earned them a position on our executive board as "Giving Volunteers"- essentially the on-call right hand people always ready to help our cause. Thank you for your service Henry and Kalina!

After leaving Prarie Street, our team traveled a few blocks down a tunnel to distribute remaining care packages while Keep Moving Ministries and F.R.E.S.H. Project Houston give out to-go boxes of prepared dinner. To the right is our founder, Catherine Van, handing out a care package to one under the tunnel.
