Who We Are
We are youth from the high schools, colleges, and universities surrounding the Houston Metropolitan area. Together, we are passionate about helping our less fortunate homeless friends in the Houston community. We always strive to work alongside Honesty, Integrity, and Kindness.
What We Do
At The Giving, we help homeless individuals get on the road to wellness and stability by providing essential-care items, conversation, and links to employment; food; and housing resources. Our main events consist of specific-item donation drives, promoting awareness, and the assembly/distribution of care packages.
Why We Do It
Our founding comes from the passion for helping others. Our projects aim to help the homeless get through their day and find services that fit their needs. If we have the privilege and position to help, we should. We believe housing is a human right.

Partnerships in Donation Drives
The Giving partners with local schools, facilities, and businesses with a youth-based audience alongside the belief that our children are tomorrow's future. We target young audiences to promote awareness for the homeless in hopes that we will change and eradicate homelessness. The Giving allows Houston youth the opportunity to learn about the homeless while engaging in civic responsibility through assembling blessing bags from donated items.
