One of the main projects here at The Giving is the assembly and distribution of blessing bags. Our Just a Dollar Campaign is a fundraiser that encourages donations by showing how far one dollar can go. Socks are the most needed item but the least donated. They're also required throughout all four seasons of the year and it's best to have a spare pair in the winter.
3 Hand Warmers

Hand warmers are a fantastic item to have on hand when the weather turns chilly. Hand warmers are a favorite among the homeless since they are one of the less often donated items.
4 Nissin Cup Noodle Meals

Ramen noodles are not just popular among college students, but also among the homeless community as well. At local gas stations and corner stores, hot water and microwaves are widely available. In the winter, ramen noodles may also be used as a hot meal.

9 Sanitary Pads

Menstruation is difficult for many homeless women due to the lack of resources and sanitation. We will include 2 feminine wipes and 4 sanitary pads in each of our care packages for women. One of the most often requested and most needed items at shelters are menstruation products.

The majority of homeless people lack access to dental care. This can lead to gum disease. Plaque, which is the major cause of tooth decay, is eliminated by brushing.
13 Bottles of Water

For homeless individuals, dehydration is a serious problem. Our water has the best quality-to-price ratio, with an 8.5 pH level for a three-dollar 40-pack. This is an important component of our National Water Day distribution.
25 Slices of Bread

Bread is a fast acting carb that ensures energy to take on the rest of the day. This bread is a main fund to our Project Sandwich and soup distributions.
